Due to the COVID-19 pandemic governments have implemented new entry requirement for passengers.
Suriname is only open for essential passenger traffic provided the admission requirements are met.
To enter Suriname, a request must be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation via conza@gov.sr

Entry requirements:
1* Valid Travel documents
2* A negative RT – COVID-19 PCR test no older than 72 hours. Please note : No GGD-test for the passengers from the Netherlands, No QUICK TEST results or ANTI BODY test results. Children younger than 12 years are excempt for taking the test.
3* A confirmed accommodation booking (no reservation) of at least 7 days at a registered SHATA hotel or accommodation. For more information about the accommodations visit the website www.bogsuriname/quarantine
4* Non-Residents must have and submit Travel Insurance with COVID-19 coverage.

Registration Obligation:
Every traveler must email the negative RT PCR test result, the confirmation of the SHATA accommodation or the statement from the Ministry of Health in case of home quarantine is permitted, and the travel insurance (for non-residents), not later than 72 hours before departure via quarantainehotel@gmail.com
