Terms & Conditions – Campaign “My Srefidensi Story”

Share your memory of celebrating Suriname’s Independence Day under the official contest post on our Facebook page. The most touching, original, or inspiring entry, selected by an independent jury wins a return ticket between Paramaribo andAmsterdam!
Contest runs from November 14 to November 21, 2025 (until 24:00 hrs).

1. Organizer
   This contest is organized by Surinaamse Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V. (dba Surinam Airways Ltd.).
2. Participation
   
   • Participation is free and open to anyone 18 years or older with a valid Facebook account.
   • Employees of Surinam Airways, its business units, and their immediate family members are excluded.
   • Only one (1) entry per person.
   
   To qualify, each participant must:
   1. Post his/her memory of Suriname’s Independence as a comment under the official giveaway post on the Surinam Airways Facebook page via the link: https://www.facebook.com/SurinamAirways/videos/1375618890810488
   2. Confirm that the entry is truthful and original.
3. Contest Period
   
   • The contest runs from November 15 to November 23, 2025 (until 24:00 hrs).
   • Entries posted anywhere else than under the designated contest post will not be considered.
   • Entries submitted after the closing date will be disregarded.
4. Winner Selection & Announcement
   
   • The winner will be chosen by an independent jury based on originality, emotional value, and storytelling.
   • The winner will be announced on November 25, 2025, via the Surinam Airways Facebook page.
   • No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.
5. Prize
   
   • The winner will receive one (1) return ticket Paramaribo – Amsterdam with Surinam Airways.
   • Any additional expenses (personal costs, accommodation, etc.) are the responsibility of the winner.
   • Travel conditions may apply.
   • The prize is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.
6. Use of Entries
   
   • By participating, entrants confirm that their submission does not infringe on copyrights, portrait rights, or any third-party rights.
   • Entrants grant Surinam Airways the royalty-free right to use their entries for promotional purposes, both online and offline.
7. Liability
   
   • Surinam Airways is not liable for technical problems, lost entries, or posts that are not counted for any reason.
   • Surinam Airways cannot be held responsible if an entry discloses third-party information.
   • Participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
8. Other Provisions
   
   • Surinam Airways reserves the right to modify or terminate the contest at any time without prior notice.
   • This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
